Depart Marrakech at 8:30 AM and drive south towards the High Atlas. Pass through the small town of Tahnaout and drive along the Ghighaya Valley. Arrive at Imlil village (1,740m), the main trailhead for Toubkal. Meet a local guide and begin your hike through Berber villages, passing under ancient walnut trees. Walk up to the village of Aroumd (1,900m) for panoramic views of the valley. Enjoy a freshly prepared Berber lunch in a local family home. After hiking back to Imlil, return to Marrakech in the evening.
